Chessboard
Dimensions: Approximately 22 inches square x 6 inches tall.
Material: Red oak, white oak, ash, maple, cherry and walnut.
Finish: I stained some of the red oak with a red oak stain. Everything else is its natural color. I clear coated it with polyurethane.
Description: A lengthy project that started as a late wedding gift and ended up being a wedding/1st anniversary/house warming and I also believe it was a 2nd anniversary gift. It started out as just the chess board, but then got extended by including the chess pieces and the custom drawers for the chess pieces.
